A special day at Timber Valley Retreat with a Girl Scout troop enjoying their hayless-hayride adventure.
“Timber Valley Retreat is an absolute gem!”
Those words from Tracy Batug brought big smiles to our faces. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming her Girl Scout troop to Timber Valley Retreat, and it sounds like the girls had just as much fun exploring Timber Valley as we did sharing it with them.
The Enchanted Forest was a big hit, and the pond provided plenty of adventure. We’re still wondering if a croc or two is hiding out there somewhere! 😂🐊
Then came one of our favorite parts—the “hayless-hayride.”
The Grosh family and our fur babies enjoyed taking the girls around the property, with a stop at the Billy-goat Farmstand along the way. Seeing the girls enjoying themselves and discovering different parts of Timber Valley is exactly why we love sharing this place with our guests.
Tracy also mentioned how much she appreciated the clean and well-maintained cabins and facilities. That means a lot to us because we work hard to make sure our guests feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for during their time here.
But one part of her review touched us especially deeply.
Tom had the opportunity to help one of the girls work toward a Girl Scout badge that had been particularly challenging for her. Moments like that are what make hosting groups so rewarding. Sometimes it’s not about the big things—it’s about taking a little extra time to help someone accomplish something meaningful.
