Timber Valley Pollinators | Discover Nature's Small Wonders
Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you simply slow down and look a little closer. While creating our newest Discover page, I grabbed my camera and walked around Timber Valley Retreat to see what I could find. Within a few minutes, butterflies were visiting blooming flowers, native bees were gathering pollen from purple coneflowers, and pollinators were busy helping the landscape thrive. It was a wonderful reminder that some of the hardest-working residents at our Western Maryland Cabin Retreat are often the smallest ones. Timber Valley Pollinators include butterflies, native bees, skippers, and many other beneficial insects that quietly support the wildflowers, gardens, and natural habitats surrounding our cabins. Their daily work helps create the colorful scenery our guests enjoy while exploring the property, relaxing outside, or photographing wildlife.
