A Quiet Moment with Wildlife at Timber Valley Retreat

Some of the most memorable moments on a farm are the ones that happen naturally, without planning or expectation.

Recently, we spotted this beautiful group of white-tailed deer enjoying the grassy meadow along the edge of the woods at Timber Valley. While several deer grazed peacefully, another rested in the grass nearby. It was a simple moment, but one worth stopping to appreciate.

A Place Where Nature Takes Center Stage

Timber Valley Retreat is surrounded by the natural beauty of Western Maryland. Our 100 acres offer a setting where woodland scenery, open meadows, and wildlife are part of everyday life.

Whether you're watching deer at the edge of the trees, listening to birds in the morning, or enjoying the quiet of the woods, nature has a way of encouraging you to slow down.

You never know what you might see during your time here. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but the possibility of seeing animals in their natural surroundings is part of what makes this property special.

Enjoy the Simple Things

Life can get busy, and sometimes we need a place where we can step away from our usual routines and enjoy a little peace and quiet.

A morning outdoors, a walk through the natural surroundings, or simply sitting back and taking in the scenery can become a treasured memory.

At Timber Valley Retreat, we appreciate these moments and feel fortunate to share this special place with the wildlife that calls it home.
