There are times when you just need to get away from the noise and spend a little time in nature.

That is what we had in mind when we created Timber Valley Retreat in Clear Spring, Maryland.

Our three camping cabins are tucked into 100 private acres of woods, trails, water and open space. It is a place where families and friends can slow down, spend time together and enjoy the outdoors without giving up the comforts of a cabin.

Each cabin has its own character, but the experience is what matters most.

Wake up to the sounds of the woods. Sit on the porch with a cup of coffee. Gather around the fire pit in the evening. Take a walk through the property. Visit our spring-fed pond. Watch for wildlife. Or explore the area around the Potomac River and C&O Canal.

There is room to do as much or as little as you want.

Timber Valley Retreat is located in Clear Spring, Maryland, making it a convenient getaway for families traveling from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Washington, DC.

We are also within reach for Maryland travelers looking to escape to the western part of the state, including guests coming from the Eastern Shore.

You do not always have to travel hundreds of miles to feel like you have truly gotten away.
